INTRO TO PHOTOGRAPHY

In this 3 week course, students will learn the inner workings of their camera! Take professional quality photos by learning the basics of your settings. ISO, White Balance, F-Stop, Shutter, etc, will all help you in getting the beautiful images you dream of. Learn about rule of thirds to get you the best compositions in any given scenario while using the camera as a tool for storytelling. We will also go over editing your photos in Adobe Photoshop. This class is open to photographers of all levels and age groups.

Instructor: Julia Forest
Julia holds a BFA in photography from the Hartford Art School. For several years she has taught photo and art classes at various art facilities such as The Brooklyn Museum, Lehigh University, the Newark Museum, Medgar Evers College, and Usdan for the Creative and Performing Arts.

Schedule: April 20th, 27th, and May 4th at 6:30 PM

What you’ll need: Any type of camera, point and shoot or DSLR. No Smartphones. Laptop with Adobe Photoshop.

Tuition: $250 Max 10 Students.
50% enrollment by April 13th is required to conduct the class.
